Mules! The latest trend we are loving.

Hi friends! Let’s talk about something that you have probably seen around town at this point: mules.  No, I’m not talking about the animal.  I’m talking about the shoe.  See they kind of resemble something that you might have seen in your grandmother’s closet, but they are super in style right now.  Buckles, calf skin, and leather are just a few of the options to choose from with mules.  For me, personally, I’m not sure if I could rock mules, being that my large feet would look like boats in those shoes.  If I had a size 7 foot, I would definitely try them out.  I’m sure my husband would make fun of my grandma shoes, but that is par for the course with trying anything trendy. 

If you’re on the fence about this trend, I would recommend a leopard calf skin mule.  Leopard is a neutral so it could easily be worn with another pattern and could also be the pop you need in a basic solid outfit. Try this trend with dressy shorts or ankle jeans for a casual but pulled together look.  Bonus, no need to have perfectly painted toenails with these shoes ;) This trend will stick around for the fall season so you can wear your leopard mules with blazers and cardigans when the air starts to crisp up.
